Azazel was a black-market arms dealer, gangster, and international criminal who had worked alongside Vali in order to expose Shura to the rest of the world, with Azazel stealing a stockpile of Quinke Metal as a result. During an encounter with Father, Azazel sold all of his Quinke Metal to the Homonculous before losing his arm during an argument. Remaining bitter against Shura, Azazel then joined forces with Vali to steal more Quinke Metal, as Azazel was now armed with his new Weaponized Prosthetic Arm. However, Azazel was still being hunted down by Kenshiro and all of the Anbu Black Ops, until he was eventually captured by Sasuke Uchiha after an extensive conflict while they were in Xing. Having been rescued, Azazel was still ultimately betrayed and murdered by Vali as a means to enter Shura and challenge Kenshiro for the throne.
